Hello Friends,

I have just received word from "An SU Staff" that The Holy Trinity will be deleted from The StumbleUpon forums directory and all members of the group will be removed.

They have told me that they have received a number of complaints about our new group. On investigation, "the SU staff" found that I have been somewhat misleading with my choice of group-name, and with the selection of related topics.

Even after my responses, the "SU staff" has not given a proper reply but a simple statement that The Holy-Trinity group will be removed today.

My group clearly abides by the Stumbleupon forum Ruels, VIEW THEM HERE

If have seen people being banned from religious groups for having a different religion and faith. But ripping a Sponsor of his privileges is not what I expected from StumbleUpons Premium services.

This is clearly due to Christians who donot want people of other faith to discuss THEIR religion and god, even in civil social discussions abiding rules set forth by stumbleupon & forum leaders.

...all members of the group will be removed.

I deleted myself from there because it can affect one's posting ability if the removal is not done properly (from memory, you can be banned from up to 9 groups before being blocked from the forums completely).

It's unfair, I agree. Wonder who complained - there was nothing untoward in the Holy Trinity group, just praise for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and polite discussion.

3. If the group is deleted, members will be removed naturally. Its not banning. Only forum owner (ME) have the right to ban a member. please feel free to join back in.

This removal is completely absurd. It is not being done because it violates SU TOS, it is being done ONLY because some people have complained about it.

Every attempt an Atheist makes to bridge the gap results in this crap. We go to Apologetics, or Jesus Christ groups, and we get banned. Christians refuse to discuss the issues here. A group gets created with the express purpose of polite (if initially satirical) discussion on core biblical issues, and Christians have it killed.

Where does it end?

Either

A) When everyone agrees with the Christians, or
B) When everyone just shuts the hell up and allows the members of the Whiney Assed Church of Jesus Christ the Drama Queen have their way about everything or they'll shout that they're being repressed and mocked.

How incredibly sad that we're going with option B. I vote for C. Tell them to get the hell over themselves and deal with the fact that freedom of speech is NOT just for people who believe in sky fairies.

As a christian I think this action is unChrist-like.

And I certainly applaud your open mindedness. Sadly, you're not representative of the majority of Christians on SU. I wish you were.

7: I'm not a Christian, and I agree with you. Personally, I agree with the core teachings of Jesus ("love thy neighbor/Love thy enemy") and this action doesn't follow that.

Is there a way to message some actual SU people, or are they a faceless dictator?

...because you know it's She-Christ and the Masters of the God-iverse. (Annie and her drones)

If it is, don't you think it's about time we started complaining about them and.... I can't believe myself.... getting them banned? I just don't see any other way. We can't coexist, clearly, and we've been passive for a long time.
