| Healyhatman | Feb 8, 6:17am | I started my own blog a while ago, because of a blogpost by a Christian...
Now admittedly my blog is offensive to and vastly intolerant of religion... But that's not the point. The POINT is the only traffic I currently get is from a few theists who are only there because some other theist linked me - the one due to whom I started the blog in the first place.
It's getting a bit harsh having a commentswar with the same Christian over and over again - I could REALLY use some help and support from fellow atheists. Preferably ones who share my anti-religious views - views that say the world would be a better place without religious interference.
Be warned of two things. First, the blog's not very good - I'm not a good writer anymore. Secondly, there's swearing - a fair bit depending on which creationist I currently hate the most. And third (a late addition) be aware that some of what I say is most likely badly formed, could be said better, sounds militant for the sake of militancy.

i run a blog too (blogs infact), and if its stuff worth reading, i put it on stumbleupon, under Atheism. Unlike you, im a Weak Atheist. I cannot disprove god (Can you? you stated that in your profile that you are a strong Atheist)
Aren't Theists always known to call us begot if you dont let them shove it down your throat?
stop hating. its a waste of energy. Use a nice language if you want to convey a meaning and not hate. It never works the other way around. but friendly mocking can be fun and effectual. I'm saying this from a couple of years of blogging. anyhow, its upto you.
then again, i never respond to most hateful comments I receive from Theists.
ps: there was a time when I asked for support in this forum. I never got much of it. seems everyone has their own trolls to deal with. but I did get help from some stumble friends. oh! since our moderators wont ban people for being Theist, there are lots of theist members down in this group. so you just got atleast one theist hypocrite to bookmark your blog by posting here.
pps: i gotta stop posting long PSs. |

| Healyhatman | Feb 14, 7:12pm | Ah well it's all good. A few things though.
I should change "strong" atheist to atheist, since there's no way to scientifically disprove the existence of some form of invisible immaterial supreme being with unbreakable detection evasion.
A strong atheist doesn't have to disprove the existence of gods to believe they don't exist. As an atheist you don't believe in miracles, does that mean you must go around spending your life trying to disprove them before your beliefs are valid?
Finally can't control the hate sorry. Some people are just so insanely stupid, like in the Saudi Arabia, Intelligent Design, VenomFangX and now the Jane Forgle posts. |

For instance, a minuscule difference in the charge of an electron would ruin everything. The near zero chance of us being here demands that I be open minded / agnostic on the matter of creation. I also buy into spirituality insofar as I can use the psychological benefit of prayer and meditation to improve my attitude. There's nothing wrong with a quaint ritual If it helps you somehow even perhaps in a way undefinable. |

Look! We fit the universe. The universe does not fit us. Simple. If the universal constants were different we wouldn't be here to talk about it. No need to invoke gods. And if you do invoke gods, you still have to explain how the gods came to exist. Pretty crappy argument from where I'm sitting! |

The chance of us being here is exactly 1.0 because we are here. After the fact it is always 1.0 and there was no before the fact odds because there was nobody there to make them, not to mention the impossibility of guessing what 'we' could be were it possible to make those odds. The odds of a constant of nature being a specific number before the fact is close to nil. The odds of a constant of nature being a number after the fact is 1.0, which is what happened. |

We were dealt the equivalent of a royal flush 1000 times in a row. Something smells manufactured. I don't invoke gods but we would be gods to the ancients-- the universe could be a construct-- there is no way to know. Bye guys, this wave form has collapsed. |
